We generally prefer to meet with you at your home. At this meeting we can discuss your project and be able to give you a rough idea of cost. We would then set an appointment at our showroom to start the design process and go through selections of cabinetry, tile, counters, etc.
Usually within this time frame you will have a complete estimate to review.

Yes, we have the latest CAD programs and can show you your designs in 3D to help you see what your project can ultimately look like.

We usually suggest you wait before purchasing anything, because we can specify what you need to purchase to make sure all is adequate for your designs. However, if you already have items purchased, we will review them with you to make sure they all work well with your project.
The ultimate drawback with this, is that of course we can not be responsible for items you have purchased.

Having been in this industry for over 20 years, I do not know of any contractor that does not have some sub contractors. If they say they don't, they are not telling you their whole story. General Contractors can not possibly keep masons, a/c specialists, licensed plumbers, etc. on salary all year long. So the answer is yes we do sub-contract, but it is how this is done that makes a difference.
Sub-contracting is not a bad thing. However, if a company is constantly changing these crews, that is when the problems arise. Inconsistent workmanship, indifferent attitudes toward your project because of no loyalty to the company, conflicting scheduling all occur when a company does not have consistent crews.
Our sub contractors are considered part of our family here at Homecraft. They have all been working together with us for over 10 years. They are professional, licensed, and insured. Although not on salary, many work for us on almost a full time basis.

We are a full service company. While we are highly regarded for kitchen and bath expertise, we do help our clients with dormers, extensions, and basement finishing. We are also certified installers for the best in roofing, siding, and windows.

Every project is different and once we speak we can give you a better idea of how long your particular project will last. Below is a listing of typical project lengths:

• Small Bath - less than a week
• Medium Bath - One week
• Large Bath - within two weeks
• Small Kitchen - within two weeks
• Medium Kitchen - within three weeks
• Large Kitchen - within four weeks
• Basement System - within two weeks
• Traditional Basement - within four weeks
• Dormer/Addition - 8 weeks
• Siding - 1 week
• Roofing - 1 to 2 days
• Windows - 1 to 2 days

We usually require a small down payment, and there are "draw" payments made as your project proceeds. We will discuss these draws with you, and of course make them fair to both of us.

We can discuss this with you. We have in the past allowed this and sometimes, things did not work out to well. Electrical, plumbing, tile work, etc. was not done properly or on schedule and delayed and caused scheduling havoc. Let's talk and try to make the proper arrangements.

Our standard warranty is 1 year labor and material. All materials used will also have their own factory warranties as well. We have in the past extended our warranty on a case by case review. Ask us for details.
